Bassam Shakaa and His Wife's Relatives Visiting Them in Syria, 1961
Taken in 1961, this photograph shows the relatives of Bassam Shakaa and his wife, Enaya al-Fassed, having lunch with them at a cafe in Damascus during the couple's stay there as political refugees. Bassam and Enaya appear in the center of the photograph and next to Enaya is her mother, Najiyyah an-Nabulsi.
