Taken in 1961, this photograph shows the relatives of Bassam Shakaa and his wife, Enaya al-Fassed, having lunch with the couple at a cafe in Damascus during the couple's stay there as political refugees. Bassam and Enaya appear on the far left of the photograph; Shahira Shakaa, Um Samir, third from the right; and next to her are her children.
