Bassam Shakaa and His Wife in Cairo, 1963
Taken in 1963, this photograph shows Bassam Shakaa and his wife, Enaya al-Fassed, who appears sitting between the daughters of his sister, Jaweda, at the Abdeen Palace, the palace of King Farouk, in Cairo during Bassam and Enaya's stay in Egypt as political refugees.
