The Symbolism in the Logo of the First Palestinian Social Conference
A handwritten document on the symbolic connotations of the shapes used in the logo of the First Palestinian Social Conference. The conference, which was held in al-Quds in 1979, was organized by the Union of Charitable Associations. The document states that the traditional Palestinian clothes used in the logo symbolise the Arabism of Palestine. The spikes of wheat in the logo refer back to the farmers- the epitome of generosity. The teeth of the cogwheel symbolise cooperation and social cohesion among various social groups.
