Taken during the late 1980s, this photograph shows a group of Palestinian women during a peaceful demonstration, held in protest against the visit of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to Israel in 1986, carrying banners that read "No peace in the Middle East without Palestinian independent state", "No to the Israeli Occupation", "Thatcher, go home", "No to the Stars War program", "The PLO is the sole representative of the Palestinian people".
