A collection of poems written and compiled by Omar Saleh Al Barghouthi when he was in prison
A 135-page book. It has a collection of poems; many of which were written by Omar Al Barghouthi when he was in prison from 1982 to 1993. The book also includes a collection of poems written by other poets; compiled by Omar Al Barghouthi. It is worth mentioning that Omar Al Barghouthi from Kobar in Ramallah was arrested more than sixteen times and spent more than twenty years in Israeli prisons. Plus, his brother Nael Al Barghouthi has spent the longest time in prison in the world. Omar Barghouthi made this book in Bir al-Sabi Prison using raw materials available in prison, including cardboard and starch and he glued several notebooks together to make this book; which he used for writing poems and kept as a diary.
