Muhammad Mahmoud Salim Yusef (AKA Abu Alaa Mansour) was one of the organizational leaders of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement- Fateh in the West Bank during the 1980s. He was in charge of the West Bank as part of the western sector of the Fateh movement during the First Intifada 1987. He has published several books and works of biography and literature that simulate his struggle experience.

The Abu Alaa Mansour Collection consists of documents and correspondence documenting his work in the Palestinian National Liberation Movement- Fateh, and other correspondence between him and the Palestine Liberation Organisation to coordinate action during the First Intifada 1987. It also includes lists of the names of the prisoners and wounded and reports on the houses demolished by the Israeli Occupation during the Intifada.
