Report on the Friends School of 1949
The report addresses several topics, including the increase in the number of female students at the beginning of the semester, where 164 new students joined. In this period, the report shows, the life of poverty and unhappiness prevailed. The school was a place of hope and enlightenment, especially with the presence of humanitarian aid that came from outside the school, such as the Lutheran World Aid. In the report, reference is made to the role of the summer school in improving the situation of students in their academic circumstances. The report then addresses the administrative work in the absence of Alice Jones from school because of her travel to America.
