An Elegy for King Fayṣal II of Iraq
Handwritten in Arabic, this document shows an elegy for King Fayṣal II of Iraq, son of King Ghazy bin Hussein, who was crowned upon the murder of his father in 1939 until his assassination at al-Rehab Palace in Baghdad on 17 July 1958. Following his death, Iraq turned into a Republic.
