"Arab-Israel Exchange of Properties", a Letter by Taher at-Tabary to Yitzhak Ben-Zvi, 1950-1960
Addressed by Sheikh Taher at-Tabary during the 1950-1960 period, this formal letter suggests a solution for the return of refugees through the exchange of Palestinian properties in the occupied territories of 1948 with the properties of the Jewish people in the various Arab countries, as well as to sell Arab lands to the Jewish National Fund. At-Tabarys believes that Palestinians find it difficult to leave the Jewish state as do the Jews.
