"The Desecration of the Christian Cemetery in Haifa", a Letter by Ilyas Kusa to the Editor of the Jerusalem Post, May 1954

Addressed by Ilyas Kusa to the Editor of the Jerusalem Post in May 1954, this formal letter was written to correct a number of mistakes in a report published regarding the desecration of the Christian cemetery in Haifa, 1954. The report mentioned that the cemetery belonged to the Greek Orthodox Church and that those who desecrated its coffins were a group of children. However, Kusa explains, in the letter, that the cemetery actually belonged to the Catholic community and the coffins were damaged by a group of zionists.
