Salfit Village Council, Minutes of Meeting no. 3, 3 May 1947
This document contains the 3rd session of the Salfit Village Council held on 3 May 1947. At the session, the Council met with the Assistant Governor of Nablus District and discussed the Council's budget for 1947-1948. Amendments were made to the resolutions adopted by the Council; the soul tax was dropped while personal and supply taxes were kept in order to support the water project. The fruit tax was also waived for all residents of the area while imposing fees on fruit sellers in public squares as well as vehicle drivers bringing fruit to town in order to sell it.
