The Production of "48 Minutes for Palestine" in Ramallah
As part of the Interactive Theatre for Palestine project, this video clip documents the production of a play titled, "48 Minutes for Palestine" in Ramallah. This interactive theatrical production tackles the relationship between a marginalized woman and man through the issue of gender oppression while showcasing the "Israeli" occupation of Palestine, displacing the Palestinian people from their homes and lands, through physical imagery. The play is set in 2010 around the world and is directed by Mojisola Adebayo, with performances from Edward Muallem and Riham Ishaq, and music by Rami Wahsha.
