Three Videos of ASHTAR Theatre's "I am al-Quds"

Three video clips documenting the presentation of "I am L-Quds", a play produced and performed by ASHTAR Theatre. The play tackles the history of al-Quds (Jerusalem) from the perspective of the city itself by humanizing it as the soul and personality of a woman displaying her life stages, as various and filled with history as they are. The play presents a critical stand to the political events -occurred and still occurring- which have marked the city's image and engraved its features for over 5 thousand years.  Performance and vision by Iman Awn Written and directed by Naser Amer  Dancers: Rasha Jahshan and Muhammad Eid Produced by ASHTAR Theatre, 2009, on the anniversary of al-Quds, the Capital of Arab Culture.
