A Video of ASHTAR Theatre's Performance of "Lil Kibar Faqat", 2011

A video clip documenting performances from "Lil Kibar Faqat" [For Adults Only +18], a play produced by ASHTAR Theatre and presented in the form of a comedic show by the students of ASHTAR in 2011. Bayan Shbaib, an actor and director, has previously worked with the ASHTAR students in a number of occasions and got to know them and their immensely talented sense of humour and sarcasm. Shbaib started a workshop for creative writing where each of the students wrote their own monologues and came out with incredible pieces which were then transformed into drawings and performative views. The pieces tackle subjects of love, relationships, society, gender, knowledge, family, western customs, and many others.
