A Video of ASHTAR Theatre's Performance of "Misk al-Ghazal"
A video clip documenting the performance of "Misk al-Ghazal" [Women of Sand Myrrh], a play adapted by Iman Awn and Peter Braschler from Hanan ash-Shaikh's novel. The play is produced by ASHTAR Theatre, directed by Peter Braschler with Assistant Director Samy Mitwasy and performed by Iman Awn, Tahany Salim, Munira Zuraiqy, Faten Khoury, with music from Aude Turjuman and lighting by Philip Andrew. The main performance was held at the YMCA in al-Quds (Jerusalem) and later on in different parts of Palestine, in Norway and in the National Theatre in Egypt. This play is the last collaboration between ASHTAR Theatre and Peter Braschler.
