"al-Fawanees", a Leaflet Issued by Ashtar, the National Conservatory of Music and Birzeit University
Issued by Ashtar Theatre, the National Conservatory of Music and Birzeit University, this leaflet, titled "al-Fawanees", promoted a musical play based on the Palestinian author Ghassan Kanafani's "al-Qandeel al-Saghir" (The Little Lantern) story. The play script was written by Wasim Kurdi based on the suggestion of Serene Huleileh, and the lyrics were composed by Suhail Khoury with the participation of Fernando Nope, Philip Andrieux, Edward Muallem, Majed al-Zubaidy and Mohammad Atallah.
