"Al-Hakawati the Centre of Theatre and Arts", a Leaflet by al-Hakawati Theatre

Issued by al-Hakawati Theatre in the 1980s, this leaflet, entitled "Al-Hakawati the Centre of Theatre and Arts", comprised a set of documents, including an advertisement on a fundraising campaign for the restoration of both an-Nuzha Cinema building in Jerusalem and al-Hakawati Theatre building, in addition to some letters from various actors that outlined the Theatre's goal of disseminating the national culture, stressed the need to donate to it and, at the same time, sought donations from a variety of actors, such as Ramallah Municipality, an-Najah National University, the Association of Arab Journalists and the Federation of Charitable Associations. The leaflet also included technical information on the distribution and areas of the rooms of al-Hakawati Theatre building, the performances it staged in Palestine between October 1977 and September 1983 in addition to other information on international media coverage of the Theater and details of its productions, such as "Bi-ism al-Ab wal-Umm wal-Ibn (In the Name of the Father, Mother, and Son)", "Mahjoub - Mahjoub", "Alf Layla Wa Layla Fi Souq al-Lahamin" (One Thousand and One Nights at the Butchers Market).
