Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 9, 1 and 11 September 1941

Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Tuesday, 9 September 1941, mentioning the visit of Adel Jaber and Mousa al-Alami, going together to the house of Kamal Ismail, a member at the Supreme Muslim Council and Tawfeeq at-Teebi was there.  On the same page, Sakakini wrote his diary on Wednesday, 10 September 1941, mentioning the visit of Mousa al-Alami then George Khamis, inviting them to dinner, and his cousin Mitri with his wife joining them in their evening.  Then he wrote his diary on Thursday, 11 September 1941, mentioning Mousa al-Alami taking him, Dumia and Hala to Sharafat, Izz ad-Din Shawwa with her son and Afifeh as-Saydawi going to Gaza that evening.
