The Continuation of the Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 6 February 1940
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Tuesday 6 February 1940, where Sari played a piece by Beethoven, which was Sultana's favourite, making Khalil cry. On the same page, Sakakini wrote his diaries dated Wednesday, 7 February 1940, where he mentioned going with his sister Milia and cousin Hanna to the cemetery and spreading flowers, going together to visit his aunt Labeyyeh who was seriously ill, where they met with his sister, her daughter Mary, Yakoub and Metri, and upon returning home, he worked on "ath-Thekra (The Memory)" book until George Khmayyes, Fakhri and his cousin Hanna came.
