The Continuation of the Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 28 November-4 December 1943

Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini from 28 November to 4 December 1943. On Sunday, 28 November 1943, Sakakini continued writing of the events of Mustafa Bey’s party, in which he noticed the large number of conspirators against Adel Jaber, and one of the attendees reprimanded him for not accepting his invitation to attend his tea party and another. On the same page, Sakakini documented his diaries dated from Saturday, 4 until Saturday, 18 December 1943. On Sunday, 5 December 1943, mentioned that Amin al-Husseini, head of the Supreme Islamic Council, is having a tea party in honour of Prince Mansour Al Saud. On Wednesday, 8 December 1943, he mentioned his agreement with the family of Musa al-Alami to spend the Eid al-Adha holiday in Tiberias.
