Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 1-15 January 1944
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Sunday 2 January 1944, where he mentioned Hala inviting her teachers from the American College in Beirut to visit Jericho, as they all went to the Jordan River and the Dead Sea, returning at 17:00. On Wednesday, 5 January 1944, he travelled with his sister Milia to Egypt, visited their cousin, Hanna Zakariyya, met with Mansour Fahmi, Azmi, his wife and Samuel Faraj Allah.
