Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 28-29 March 1942

Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Saturday and Sunday 28-29 March 1942. On Saturday, he went with his sister Melia to the cemetery and then collected one hundred and twenty-three Palestinian pounds for his book "Al-Jadeed" from the Ministry of Education. On the next day, he went with Melia, Sary and Hala to the cemetery where Adel Jabr joined them; who had visited them in the morning, then he went with Adel Jabr to visit Adly Bey in his office, and then mentioned that many visits people paid him in the afternoon, including Adel Jabr, Issa at-Tibih, Fakhri al-Jouhary, Elias al-Haddad and Jalil Abdo with his wife and sister. Then he said that he has many articles, letters and diaries on various topics and that they serve as funny material as books.
