The Continuation of the Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 7 April 1942

Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Tuesday 7 April 1942, where continues specking of Marta Msallam, who wrote a letter to Arafat Dweik, the principal at Ramla school, asking him to help her as much as he can, Mustafa Hasan coming to ask him to ask his cousin, Metri, to take care of him, Jamil Ahmad visiting him, his cousin Metri and his family coming over, in the evening, Khawaja Marroom and his wife visiting him, while in the afternoon, several ladies came over including Umm al-Abed, the widow of Jamil Azzam, and her daughter Nahil. On the same page, he wrote his diary dated Wednesday, 8 April 1942, as Dumia left for Beirut at 10:00 and Hasan al-Jarbawi from Jenin and Saleh at-Taher from Ya'bad visited him.
