Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 10 October 1950
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Tuesday 10 October 1950, where he mentioned his decision to visit Subhi; a famous ophthalmologist back in the day, as the examination took two hours, he also performed a urine test to find that it contained albuminuria, agreed to have an eye surgery, then, he also wrote about receiving a letter from Antone Attallah saying that he took 100EGPs from Antone Laurance, later, he heard that Grigory Khamis is alive as told by Yousif Abdo, and George al-Khouri Issa the headmaster of Beit Jala school has been assigned as a priest for the Orthodox community in Jerusalem.
