Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 1 and 2 October 1940
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Tuesday, 1 October 1940, which he began by pointing out visiting the cemetery, spreading flowers with his sister Milia, and reminiscing about the same days the previous year, when Sultana began entering the midst of death, and the visit of Ya'qoub al-Oudat, Al-Badawi al-Mulaththam from east of Jordan on the same day. On the same page, Sakakini wrote his diary dated Wednesday, 2 October 1940, pointing out visiting the cemetery with his sister Milia and his daughters Dumia and Hala and spreading flowers, which is what Catinco Deeb did the day before.
