Handwritten, this archival item documents the completion of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Thursday, 3 October 1940, pointing out his dedication to studying medicine, malignancy, cardiology, and lung and neurological diseases, before his wife's death, hoping that he would help doctors in taking care of Sultana while she was sick or perhaps find a cure, however after her death, Sakakini devoted himself to studying philosophy from the oldest era to the present day, and he found his solace only in the philosophy of Schopenhauer.
