Completion of the Diary of Khalil Sakakini, 3 October 1940

Handwritten, this archival item documents the completion of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Thursday, 3 October 1940, mentioning the visits of his cousin Hanneh, Najla, his cousin Labiba and her daughter Fadwa, Mitri Farraj's wife Nada with Olga Tamari, Adel Jaber's wife Mananeh and her daughter, Despina Abdo with her daughters Capni, Ikryvi, Margaret and Praxia, Umm Samaan Abdo, and Julia the daughter of his uncle George.  On the same page, Sakakini wrote a part of his diary on Friday, 4 October 1940, which he began by mentioning visiting the cemetery and spreading flowers with his sister Milia, he also mentioned that this is the day of the previous year when they carried Sultana in the hearse to bury her.
