Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 12 October 1940
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Saturday 12 October 1940, which he began by pointing out visiting the cemetery and spreading flowers with his sister Milia and his daughters Dumia and Hala, mentioning that if he knew that the girl with whom he was happiest and loved would die before him, he would not have married and bemoaned the death of Sultana in her youth, saying that it was heaven's unforgivable crime.
