Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 2 January 1941
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday, 1 January 1941, which he began by mentioning visiting the cemetery and spreading flowers with his sister Milia and his daughters Dumia and Hala, the visit pf Farajallah who arrived from Haifa, then Adel Jaber then al-Naouri, and on that day the famous musician, Salvador Arnita came to examine Dumia and Hala with Piano, in addition, Sakakini reminisces short diaries written in 1910, 1911 and 1912, including Sunday, 2 January 1910: Sakakini mentions entering this year with joy and happiness influenced by the principles and love that lightened Al-Sakakini hails him entering this year with joy and happiness, influenced by the principles, the love that rejoiced his life and renewed his happiness, and the school that renewed his hopes.
