Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 21 May 1941
Handwritten, this archival item documents the continuation of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday, 21 May 1941, which he began by mentioning visiting the cemetery and scattering flowers with his sister Milia, the visit of Abu Ahmad Yousef al-Maghrebi from Atara in the afternoon suggesting to accompany him to see a piece of land at al-Itha'a street with his sister Milia, his cousin Yacoub and Olga Tamari, then going to Betounia assigning Abu Ahmad to ask the owners of the land about its price, he also mentioned that he finished reading the book titled "Democracy" by Burns and translated by Mohammad Badran.
