Continuation of the Diary of Khalil Sakakini, 25 May 1941
Handwritten, this archival item documents the continuation of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday, 22 January 1941 at the top of the page, naming his visitors in the afternoon including his cousin Yacoub, Mitri Farraj and his wife, Jaleel Abdo and his wife, Ahmad Khalifa and Issa at-Tabbe. Then Sakakini wrote his diary on Monday, 26 May 1941, Wednesday, 21 May 1941, which he began by mentioning visiting the cemetery and scattering flowers with his sister Milia, visiting Ahmad Effendi Khalifa's house with his sister Milia then all of them going to Ein Karem, and naming his visitors in that evening including his cousin Mitri, Stello Awad with his wife, Hanneh and Najla. On the same page, Sakakini wrote his diary on Tuesday, 27 May 1941, mentioning going to the YMCA to attend a lecture by Khalil Totah regarding "Education among the Arabs".
