Continuation of the Diary of Khalil Sakakini, 20 December 1941
Handwritten, this archival item documents the continuation of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Saturday, 20 December 1941, continuing his talk regarding youth and ageing, mentioning his friend al-Haj Abdel-Hadi abu Awni Bey Abdel-Hadi who aged but does not like to admit it. On the same page, he wrote his diary on Sunday, 21 December 1941, mentioning visiting the cemetery with his sister Milia, and the visit of Habib Khoury, his nephew Fayez Khoury and Rafiq al-Husseini in the afternoon. In the footer of the page, Sakakini mentioned being surprised that when the Torah mentioned the sons of Adam, it was limited to the ages of men.
