Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 14 January 1947
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Tuesday 14 January 1946, where he wrote about the news of the sudden death of Abu George Shukri Deeb at 01:00 in on the shore of the Dead Sea, with only his wife next to him, crying for help, and the doctor arriving after he passed. He also wrote lamenting the death of Abu George and recalling their memories together, this stroke was the second and deadly.
