"A Gift to the Children of Palestine", an Exhibition by Marwan Kassab Bachi, 1998
Issued in Arabic and English by the Khalil Sakakini Cultural Centre, an invitation to attend the opening of the exhibition "A Gift to the Children of Palestine" by Marwan Qassab Bachi, a Syrian artist residing in Berlin, and it was opened on Monday, 13 April 1997 under the auspices of the then Minister of Culture, Yasser Abed Rabbo, and the opening was followed by a documentary film, coloured slides and some welcoming words, while the exhibition continued until the 23rd of the same month, and the invitation cover carried a picture of one of the artist's paintings titled "The Child".
