A Photograph of the Via Dolorosa in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem
Taken by Yousef Albina between the 1920s and the 1930s, this photograph shows Via Dolorosa Street between the 5th and 6th stage in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem. It is noteworthy that the Via Dolorosa "the path of suffering" is the path that Jesus, peace be upon him, took from the moment he was sentenced to his crucifixion and execution, as Christians believe. The road has fourteen stages, each stage representing a chapter of the suffering of Christ, peace be upon him.
