Omar bin al-Khattab Mosque Minaret in Jerusalem, a Photograph by Yousef Albina, the 1950s
Taken by Yousef Albina in the 1950s, this photograph shows the Omar bin al-Khattab Mosque minaret near the Church of the Holy Selpchure in the Old City of Jerusalem. It is worth noting that the mosque was built in the 12th AD century in the exact spot where Omar bin al-Khattab prayed when he visited Jerusalem in 638.
