Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 26 April and 18 and 20 May 1944

Handwritten, this archival item documents the continuation of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday 26 April 1944, where he mentioned that Dafi flew from Jerusalem to Egypt to meet his wife and son, and from there, they shall travel to England. On the same page, he wrote his diary dated Thursday 18 May 1944, where he mentioned that the Orthodox club in Jerusalem hosted a celebration in remembrance of Ibrahim Touqan and he was assigned by the club to facilitate it. Then, he recorded his diaries dated 20 May 1944, where he mentioned the participation of the Orthodox clubs and the Orthodox Executive Committee in Palestine and East Jordan following an invitation from the Orthodox Union Club.
