Taken on 2 August 1983, this photograph oshows Mahmoud as-Safa on his wedding day where Khairy Anis Badi is seen carrying him on his shoulders during the "Groom's Zaffa" while as-Safa is seen holding an umbrella, which is a tradition in Baqa al-Gharbiyye where the umbrella is decorated with gold as a wedding gift "Nuqout".
