A certificate of appreciation awarded by the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Mahmud ʿabbas following his decree to award the Star of Jerusalem medal to Dr. Samir Ghaushe in recognition of his pioneering role in the national struggle, the protection of national identity and the PLO as the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, and enabling the Palestinian people to achieve their national dream of ending the occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
