A Letter from Munira, the Wife of Hussein Mhanna, to Him, 1978
This document shows letters sent from Munira, the wife of Hussein Mhanna, during his arrest in Israeli prisons from April 1978 till July 1978, after refusing to be a member of the Israeli Reserve Army in the October War in 1973, following the Israeli Occupational Forces (IOF) sending his threats of imprisonment since 1973, till they arrested him in April 1978. Sent on 18 May 1978, this letter from Munira to her husband includes her reassuring him of the wellbeing of the family and the shop, informing him that people are paying off their debt to them and that the shop is running smoothly, mentioning that she spoke to the attorney who informed her that he sentenced to 35 days, and telling him of the permit she tried to take to visit him but couldn't because visitations are only once every two weeks.
