A Letter from Aref Jihad Ali to His Uncle Hussein Mhanna, 1978
This document shows letters sent from Aref Jihad to Hussein Mhanna, during his arrest in Israeli prisons from April 1978 till July 1978, after refusing to be a member of the Israeli Reserve Army in the October War in 1973, following the Israeli Occupational Forces (IOF) sending his threats of imprisonment since 1973, till they arrested him in April 1978. Sent on 26 June 1978, where Aref assured Hussein of his wellbeing and tells him of the family greetings, he also informs him of the accident with Rayef al-Hajj, as he drove his car into a lamp post causing the death of a teacher and his wife from Tarshiha.
