A Letter from Munireh to her Husband Hussein Muhanna, 1978

Sent on 7 July 1978, this document shows a letter from Munireh Muhanna to her husband Hussein Muhanna in which she tells him that she is happy after the court's decision, reassures him of the conditions of his children, tells him of taking her daughter Nawal to the ophthalmologist in Nahariya and asks him to write her a letter in Hebrew as she does not know the Hebrew language. This letter is one of a series of letters she sent to her husband Muhanna during his detention at the Israeli prisons from April- July 1978 due to his refusal to participate in the Israeli Occupation reserve forces in the October 1973 War, therefore threatening him with imprisonment, as they sent him threats of arresting him from 1978 until they carried it out in April 1978.
