A Letter from Hussein Mhanna to Yousef, 1978
This document shows letters sent from Hussein Mhanna to Yousef during his arrest in Israeli prisons from April 1978 till July 1978, after refusing to be a member of the Israeli Reserve Army in the October War in 1973, following the Israeli Occupational Forces (IOF) sending his threats of imprisonment since 1973, till they arrested him in April 1978. Sent on 3 July 1978 with a released detainee, this letter is from Hussein Mhanna to Yousef saying that he is saddened by the position of his family and the people of his village as he does not want to be bargained out of jail, that he is resilient in his position with his party and is willing to show patience and steadfastness with his principles. He also says that he relies on Yousef and Nayef, where whatever they think is right he does too.
