Correspondence to the North Endowment Commissioner, 1933-1938
This document features a set of correspondence addressed to the North Endowment Commissioner regarding the restoration of the mosque of Tulayl village, located in Akka district, consisting of correspondence he exchanged with the villagers on 13 October 1933 as well as on 8 and 25 October 1938 in addition to correspondence regarding the Banat Yacoub Cave. The correspondence regarding the cave included a letter dated 13 May 1933, which was addressed from the archaeological engineer Helery Wedington, who sought the permission to prepare drawings of the cave following the Supreme Islamic Council and the Religious Endowments (Awqaf) Department's approval.
