Arrest and Search, Know Your Rights Series, June 1996
Printed in Arabic, this archival item shows a booklet titled "Arrest and Search", issued by the Mandela Foundation for the Care of Detainees in June 1996, and implemented by the Jafra Advertising Company in Ramallah. The Foundation aims to rebuild Palestinian society in an atmosphere governed by the rule of law and in which human rights principles are observed. The booklet contains a set of instructions and illustrations for the duties of and the rights of both individuals and policemen towards each other, and deals with cases of arrests of persons and searches of persons and real estate.
