A Portrait of Sabri Yaaqba, 1969

Taken in 1969, this studio portrait shows Zajjal Sabri Najeeb Yaaqba (Abu Khaled al-Kuforawi) from Kafr Ra'I in Jenin, who has performed at traditional wedding parties in many Palestinian cities and villages, especially in Jenin. Yaaqba was honoured by Inash Alusra Association in al-Bireh in 1975 during his participation in the Palestinian Zajal Festival.
