Members of the Arab Orthodox Charitable Refuge Association, the Early 1960s
Taken in the early 1960s, this photograph shows members of the Arab Orthodox Charitable Refuge in front of Our Lady Mary’s Maternity Hospital, as the hospital is affiliated with the Association, and was established in 1953 in Beit Jala near the shelter’s building, which includes a special room for delivery and several rooms equipped with everything necessary to ensure the comfort of middle-class and poor mothers.
