The Minutes of Meeting No. 28 and 29 of the Agricultural Committee 2000
The minutes of two meetings of the Agricultural Committee-Salfit, Session No. 28 was held on 23 Nov 2000 and Session No. 29 on 26 Nov 2000 The 28th session discusses fining several young people from the town for stealing olives. At the 29th meeting, the Committee discusses fining those who are re-harvesting olive trees before their owners. The Committee also paid $100 to the municipal official who is responsible for following up the Commission's issues and accounts. "aṣ-Ṣeyafe": A term used to refer to the period in which people are allowed to re-harvest olive trees whose owner have finished harvesting, it usually comes during the month of December and January.
