Land Sale Deed by Hussein Mohammad to Abdallah Abdallah, 22 April 1947

Issued on 1 Jumada II 1366 AH, corresponding to 22 April 1947, this document shows a sale deed for two blocks of land located within the village of Burqa, owned by Hussein Sheikh Mahmoud and his nephews, Salim, Sleiman and Mohammad to Abdallah Hajj Ibrahim Abdallah, as Abdallah bought the first block of land called Bab al-Haseen, bordered by the land of Mahmoud Abdel-Hadi sons from the east and north, and the road from the west and south, while the second plot of land called the land of Samaqa is bordered by the buyer from the west and south, the land of Marzouq Family from the east and the land of Abdallah Khalil's sons from the north. The area of the two purchased pieces reached 12 Qirats out of 24 owned by the seller and Taher Hajj Abed for 20 Palestinian pounds, where the two parties agreed to register the deed with the settlement officer, and it was testified by 5 witnesses from the people of Burqa.
